5 reasons it’s OK to buy a car seat model that was once recalled…
1. The actual seat you’ll be buying was repaired before it ever left the factory. It seems there was some possibility that the harness on the RECARO Como 331.01.MM could possibly have become disconnected from the harness connector while placing a child in or removing a child from the seat. It never actually happened in real life, but it maybe could’ve. The fix? A couple of rubber caps on the yoke. Most consumers just installed them themselves. The batch of brand-new seats we’re selling today were corrected before they were ever shipped out, so to the extent you trust any manufacturer with your child’s vehicular safety, you can trust these seats.
